The Manchester-based Solregn return with ‘NorthSea’, a bubbling track constructed from the most magical of combinations - piano and electronics. The keys trill and weave under a crisp hi-hat and snare, while smooth, reflective vocals float over top in repeating melodies. There’s a serene calmness to ‘NorthSea’, with the jazz-laced instrumentation  suggesting that it could veer off track at a moment’s notice. We’ve also been treated to a visual to go alongside Solregn’s latest release, which centres around a hip couple who appear to have found peace in one another's company. The video switches between scenes of Manchester’s red-bricked streets and the city’s pockets of nature, reflecting the organic and electronic elements that knit together so perfectly in ‘NorthSea’. - HT
